Punjab Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) Master Plan

This study involves the design of a master plan for the Greater Mohali Area, which occupies an area of about 1,350km2, for a planning horizon of 50 years. There were three main stages to the study which included developing a strategic vision plan, a comprehensive regional plan and local plans for six individual towns and cities in the study area. The scope consisted of a review of the existing transport infrastructure, demand forecast for the design years, development of the conceptual transport network with proposed land uses, assessment of the adequacy of the transport network and recommendations for transport infrastructure building and upgrading.
