Sentosa Gateway Tunnel

Contract ER290 comprises the design, construction and completion of road tunnels, depressed roads, road improvement and widening of at-grade roads, construction of road-related facilities, a facility building and all associated works-drains, retaining walls, covered link ways, relocation of bus stops and covered pedestrian overhead bridges (POB).

The two-lane, one way tunnel stretches from Sentosa Gateway to Kampong Bahru Road, with a one-lane tunnel branching off to the exit at Keppel Road. The tunnel will be constructed using cut-&-cover, NTAM, piped-box methods. The construction methods adopted are aimed at negating disruption to traffic during construction.

Works also included at-grade road widening along Kampong Bahru Road (from its junction at Teloh Blangah Road to Lower Delta Road) and along Lower Delta Road between Kampong Bahru Road and AYE to a dual-three lane road.

There will also be some advanced works in the vicinity of the proposed tunnels, such as the relocation of the sub-station, road widening along Sentosa Gateway and some utilities diversions.
