SPANS-JOM Clubhouse
SPANS-JOM Clubhouse is the first purpose built recreational facility for the Police National Servicemen and Junior Police Officers. Sited adjacent to the legendary Sun Yat Sen's Villa - off Balestier Road amidst a quiet residential neighbourhood, it seeks to provide a resort like ambience that is contextual to its function and setting.

The design of the clubhouse is contemporary and tropical. The complex comprises a linear block and a hall with two aerodynamic volumes penetrating each end, forming an open loop. Outdoor space is drawn into the interior through interesting spatial design that is layered. A swimming pool is centrally placed to add depth. Through its mirror like reflections, the spatial and sculptural quality of the building is magnified.

The clubhouse caters a wide range of sports and leisure facilities such as billiards, gymnasium, martial arts etc. The indoor sports hall caters for multiple sports such as badminton, basketball or volleyball. A 10-lane bowling alley and jackpot rooms are planned in the basement level. The clubhouse also has a host of external sports facilities.
