The Arts House @ Old Parliament
Situated at the Old Parliament House, the Arts House is a multi-disciplinary arts and heritage centre, designed to serve as a key venue for various art events. This national monument dates back to Singapore's colonial days, and is rich in heritage.

Preservation and conservation concepts had to be in line with Preservation Guidelines set by the Urban Redevelopment Authority and the Preservation of Monuments Board. Good practices of conservation were observed in the restoration process and special considerations were given to the buildings' social history. Located on the second storey of the main building, the main arts centre houses various facilities, including the film theatrette, concert chamber, a blackbox theatre, rehearsal spaces, a reception/function room, a visual art gallery, a constitutional history display gallery and other ancillary support spaces. A range of dining and retail outlets are located on the first storey of the Arts House.

More spaces were also created to accommodate the new mechanical and electrical equipment during the major upgrading of the building's mechanical and electrical system. Overall, the architecture of the Arts House is in sync with its neighbours such as the Asian Civilisations Museum at Empress Place, the Victoria Concert Hall and the Victoria Theatre.
