Singapore Tyler Print Institute
Singapore Tyler Print Institute is an independent non-profit organisation; which is dedicated to education, advance print and paper making, and exhibition of quality works of art by prominent artists.

This project aims to transform existing 2-storey 1920s warehouse at Robertson Quay into a state-of-the-art workshop, paper mill, gallery, artist’s studio and other ancillary facilities. The external facade walls are conserved but the entire internal components including the roof structure are demolished. New layout is constructed within this tight site constraint to meet the client's functional requirements. The workshop and the gallery occupy the 1st and 2nd storey respectively and additional 3rd storey is created to house offices and print storage.

To enhance the working relationship between the printers, there are 4 units of residential apartments on 4th storey for the workshop manager and visiting artists. Situating in Robertson Quay with locals and tourists enjoying wine & dine and many other club/pub activities, STPI also house some F&B spaces, such as, a cafe and a restaurant with views of the Singapore River.
