CPG Consultants has been appointed by the Public Utility Board (PUB) to provide full consultancy services for the Active, Beautiful & Clean Waters (ABC Waters) Project along Sungei Pandan and Sungei Ulu Pandan. This project was secured via the competitive Quality Fee Method.
The CPG Environment team, together with CPG’s urban planners and architects, will design and implement aesthetic treatment and enhancement of the river banks, incorporating ABC Waters design features to bring vibrancy, beauty and improve water quality to the two rivers. The team aims to further bring out the richness of the ABC Waters Programme by enhancing sustainability as well as showcasing the biodiversity manifesting inherently at these two rivers.
This project is part of the strategic and innovative ABC Waters Programme by PUB to transform our waterways and water bodies into clean, active and beautiful community spaces, while improving on the original stormwater management functionality. At the launch of the ABC programme back in April 2006, CPG Consultants was appointed as Watershed Manager to master plan and implement various projects in the Eastern Catchment. The Sengkang Floating Island, Family Bay at Lower Seletar Reservoir and Lorong Halus Wetland projects are presently under various stages of construction.
