C911 Gali Batu MRT Depot
The Downtown Line (DLT) is to be built in three stages and have 34 stations with trains running from north-western and eastern areas of Singapore to Central Business District and Marina Bay. Stage 1 is 4.3km in stretch with 6 stations; Stage 2 is 16.6km in stretch with 1 depot and 12 stations and; Stage 3 is 19.1km in stretch with 15 stations.

CPG Consultants is awarded Contract 911, which consists of the design and construction of Arch, C&S, M&E (building services) works for a new depot, which provides administration, maintenance, operational and support facilities, and stabling for the DTL Project.

The depot is located along Woodlands Road, stretching from the junction of Kranji Expressway (KJE) to Kwong Hou Sua Teochew Cemetery opposite of Sungei Kadut Avenue. It includes a main building (comprises the main workshop and a 4-storey office with an operational and communication centre), a locomotive workshop, a central warehouse, stabling siding building, train wash building, ancillary buildings, sub-stations and other facilities to support the railway operations. Two existing roads along Woodlands Road leading to the MINDEF training facilities and Housing Development Board granite stockpiles are replaced by two new access roads.
