All nursing facilities are designed with the needs of long-staying patients in mind. Each ward is a self-contained pod with gardens, activity units, rehabilitation and support spaces slotted in between, thus introducing daylight, greenery and natural ventilation to the interiors. Besides affording a window for each bed, the innovative arrangement also minimises walking distances for caregivers and visitors alike.
