ER288 - Central Expressway Widening (PIE to Braddell Interchange)

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) awarded four contracts as part of the project to widen the Central Expressway (CTE) (from Bukit Timah Road to Yio Chu Kang Road) from dual-three lanes to dual-four lanes continuous carriageway, in order to improve the traffic flow and capacity of the expressway, as well as meet the needs of the North-East corridor road network of Singapore.


CPG Consultants was awarded Contract ER288, which comprises the widening of the CTE for the stretch of road between Pan Island Expressway (PIE) and Braddell Interchange. The scope of work includes the design, construction and completion of widening approximately 2.4km of the carriageway partly at-grade, and on viaduct with slip road connections and a pair of flyovers. The widening also involves upgrading of all roads, drainage, canals and bridges.
