Jurong Water Reclamation Plant — Phase 3 Extension

The Phase 3 extension project at the Jurong Water Reclamation Plant is targeted at increasing the capacity of the plant by an additional 40,000m3 a day from its 164,000 m3 daily capacity, to cater to rising water demand in the Jurong area. The project involves the provision of an integrated design, construction supervision and commissioning treatment facilities based on the activated sludge process. The structures of this process include the inlet works, a 30m deep pumping station, additional treatment modules, a central control building, a sludge dewatering building, digesters, a sludge storage tank and a gas holder.
