Our Own English High School is one of many basic schools in Dubai for the large Indian Community - a long-standing ethnic population that is very much engaged in the workforce and economics of Dubai.

The proposed new school is located in the rapidly increasing residential area around Al Wa'qaa. The brief entails a school accommodation of close to 12,000 students ranging from Kindergarten to High School level, in accordance with the Indian Curriculum.

The architectural design is clean and modern with architectural façade elements that tie the individual school blocks to form a long main frontage. Additional design considerations include the careful planning of vehicle parking to serve the huge school population.
