Sewer Rehabilitation for Serangoon, Pasir Ris/ Changi Catchments

CPG Consultants has been appointed by PUB, Singapore's national water agency, to assess the sewer pipe condition and identify the length of sewers that need to be rehabilitated at Serangoon and Pasir Ris/ Changi Catchments.

The main objectives of sewer rehabilitation are to restore and enhance the structural integrity of the sewer network and to improve the water quality in the waterways.

In order to identify and prioritise sewer pipes to be rehabilitated, we developed a methodology based on the following approaches, which have been used throughout the study: field investigation and monitoring, inflow and infiltration analysis, assessment of significance of inflow and infiltration, prioritisation of sewer rehabilitation work, inflow source tracing and hydraulic modelling.
