Commercial & Mixed-Use
In today's globalised economy, cities are becoming key commercial hubs
Solaris @ One North
Solaris marries nature and the workplace in a biophilic design to serve the info comms, media, science, engineering research and clean-tech development industries.
The office tower in one north brings abundant natural daylight and offers workers views of the surroundings. Solaris was the first in Singapore to exceed a green plot ratio by more than 11—the number of times the development’s areas occupied by greenery is more than its site. Such a high density was attained through various green features, including a 1.5-kilometre spiral terrace garden that runs from the basement of the 15 storey tower to its rooftop.
Various environmentally sustainable design strategies, such as a cloak of louvres to help greenery thrive while reducing solar heat gain, rain sensors, as well as a large skywell to maximise natural light and ventilation created an open and welcoming working environment while optimising energy efficiency.

NUCLEOS
In collaboration with Perkins+Will, the concept designer of this project, Nucleos consists of three components: field, finger and flora. Nucleos is designed as a 7-storey twin block consisting of modular units and hotel laboratory suites. The building’s east facade merges the two blocks to create a unified feel which in turn creates a series of building fingers in an east-west orientation. An urban view corridor cuts through the middle of the building, providing a visual vista across the public plaza. Sky terraces and elevated pocket gardens bring nature into the built environment. By closely interlocking landscape with functional spaces, we aim to make the greens conducive for spontaneous interaction among occupants.

FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE (FEC) - KIDZANIA
Situated at Palawan Beach in Sentosa, KidZania is an indoor family education and entertainment centre designed to educate children aged 4 to 14 through experience; fostering the development of life skills, and giving kids the confidence and inspiration to be great global citizens.
CPG’s contribution to the project includes the rendering of architectural design, civil and structural engineering, and mechanical and electrical engineering services, giving rise to a 81,000 square foot kid-sized city, complete with buildings, paved streets, vehicles and a functioning economy, where kids can learn about different careers, the inner-workings of a city and the concept of managing money through realistic role-plays.
Kidzania announced its permanent closure in June 2020.

PAN PACIFIC SERVICED SUITES
The Pan Pacific Serviced Suites is a 16-storey building with 120 luxury suites and 6 penthouses catering to overseas professionals. An office-cum-service apartment, each suite facilitates the work-live-play lifestyle.
Tuning in with the high visibility and vibrancy of the site, the design intent was to create a building that would be an icon of urban cool, instantly visible along Orchard Road. With its meticulously crafted building skin, it creates a new expression in building envelope design, enriching the Orchard-Somerset Road skyline.
