MARINA COASTAL EXPRESSWAY
The dual five-lane, 5 km Marina Coastal Expressway (MCE) is the tenth expressway in Singapore, and a key element of the strategic island-wide road network to support the long-term growth of Singapore. The underground east-west transport link runs between the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE), the East Coast Parkway (ECP) and the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE), with direct connections to Marina South and Strait Views areas.

ALKAFF BRIDGE
Alkaff bridge spans 55 metres across the river, connecting River Place, River View and Robertson Walk. Shaped liked a tongkang (historic light cargo boats of the 19th century), the inverted arches that make up the hull of the bridge support the deck. The arched dynamics of this contemporary design provides a unique spatial experience for pedestrians and onlookers alike. The sensual curves portray the bridge more as a river sculpture suspended above the water, creating aesthetic appeal among the belt of high-class residential cum commercial and entertainment buildings.

Kallang Paya Lebar Expressway C422 & C424
The Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) is a 12 km long strategic road link between the existing East Coast Park Expressway (ECP) in the south and Tampines Expressway (TPE) in the north-east. The KPE comprises 9 km of underground road and 3 km of surface level road, together with major interchanges with the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE), ECP and TPE. It is currently the longest underground tunnel in South-East Asia.
CPG Consultants designed a 2.6 km section of KPE between Ubi Road 2 and Defu Road 3; and a 1.64 km section of the KPE between the ECP and PIE. This comprised all elevated slip roads, at-grade highway, ventilation building and landscaping, traffic signs and road markings, pedestrian overhead bridges and link sewers. The scope also included significant temporary works such as temporary vehicular bridges, diaphragm walls, temporary steel shoring and traffic diversion during construction.
