CPG Consultants wins 12 awards at MOH Holdings Appreciation Dinner

On the 21 November 2023, CPG Consultants was honoured to attend the MOHH Appreciation Dinner, held by the MOH Holdings Pte Ltd (MOHH). The MOHH Appreciation Dinner was an occasion to commend the collaboration and team efforts that enabled the public healthcare infrastructure sector to endure and surmount challenges such as supply chain disruptions, a shortage of manpower, and escalating material costs triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic. The event was graced by guest-of-honour Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Communications and Information & Ministry of Health, Mr Janil Puthucheary, together with MOHH Chairman Mr Chan Yeng Kit, MOHH board members, as well as members of the Healthcare Infrastructure and Planning Committee.

CPG Consultants is proud to have received 12 awards for 8 projects, as an acknowledgement of industry best practices that played a crucial role in influencing Singapore's public healthcare infrastructure landscape.

Among the awards won, the Distinguished Award went to CPG Consultants for its design of The National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID), Singapore. Officially opened in 2019, the NCID consolidates clinical services, public health operations, outbreak training, public education, and community engagement for outbreak preparedness in a single facility. This setup facilitates a comprehensive and integrated approach to effectively manage threats posed by infectious diseases. Ms Ruby Lai, Senior Consultant at CPG Consultants, expressed her delight in the project’s achievements: 'We are immensely pleased that NCID has withstood the challenges posed by Covid-19. The scenario planning, conducted in collaboration with the clinical team, played a crucial role in preparing the building to handle the unforeseen severity of the novel disease.

Alongside the design and medical planning undertaken by CPG architects, the awards also acknowledge CPG's substantial expertise across various disciplines in designing healthcare facilities. The Civil & Structural Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, and Quantity Surveying teams in CPG Consultants also play a crucial role in contributing to the safety designs and mechanical systems that safeguard occupants in healthcare establishments.
