CPG Consultants provided architectural concept, facility planning and design services for the Research Techno Plaza at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Situated off Nanyang Drive near the hub of the NTU main campus complex, this research centre consists of a 4-storey atrium, flanked by a 6-storey linear block and 9-storey tower block. This building houses the respective research centres under one roof, creating synergy through multi-disciplinary interactions. By including the technopreneur centre, it is hoped that many of the research products can be commercialised.

There are more than 10 centres, including 6 Class 10,000 clean rooms. These are world-class facilities comprising research and teaching laboratories, a bio-engineering corridor, a broadband and wireless communication centre, network technology research, Temasek Laboratories, an intelligent systems centre, environmental engineering research centre, centre for high performance embedded systems, the Nanyang Technopreneurship Centre and a reality theatre.
