This project is a 4-storey office block with two levels of basement. The form and spaces of the building evolved out of the client's request for a new building image that is compatible with the character of the Police establishment, yet breaks away from the stereotypical appearance of a police station.

The design focuses on translating the client's workflow into an efficient organisation of spaces, with particular emphasis on providing a one-stop service to the public. Two triangular service cores that interlock with the main rectangular block give the building its unique shape. The curved mass of the auditorium prominently highlights the public entrance.
